Guys just a quick question, for my spouse in India, I plan to do the spousal sponsorship. Since she is in India, can I file for her OWP as well or is it that OWP is only for Inland candidates?

Your wife would need to obtain a TRV to come to Canada. If she can come to Canada then you would apply to sponsor her inland and include an OWP with the application. The OWP will be approved around four months after the application is submitted. You can continue to renew the OWP until the PR application is approved. Note that if she goes the inland route - she should remain in Canada without leaving until the application is approved (which can take a couple of years).

Was your wife able to get the TRV? Or did you guys apply for Outland?
I am in the process of deciding the best way to go fwd for me, so just curious.
