Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

I applied for PGP in Jan 2016. I have been approved as sponsor, medicals are done, PCC has been sent and RPRF has been paid. I (sponsor) just had a baby in end of October.

So, can someone here clarify what is the process of informing CIC about an addition to the family (new baby)? Do I just need to send an email with birth certificate (short or long?)? Also, do I need to send 2015 NOA again? Also, is email enough or do I need to fill in some form(s)?

Moreover, will this affect my SA? I do meet the income requirements for 2016 with the new baby but will the application be delayed? Is CIC going to wait and ask for 2016 NOA?

Thanks.

Hi

You need to send a CSE to your VO to inform them of the birth with a copy of the birth certificate attached. You don't need to send anything else; if IRCC wants any more info or forms, they will request it.

This will not affect your SA. Note that you must continue to meet the LICO every year until your parents land.

CSE? What does that stands for?

And I do meet the minimum LICO right now and understand that I need to maintain that. Thanks

Can I not send an email to my VO? The problem with CSE is that it has required First name and Last name but I only have one name. So, I can't submit it without having to fill in something for my last name. In the paper application they mentioned that if I have one name, I need to fill it in the 'Family Name' section and leave 'Given Name' blank. But, I can't do that with CSE form. This is why I am wondering if Email to CPC-O will suffice?

Thanks.

Enter "NUL" for your first name.
Right but what if NUL is actually a name? How will CIC know that is means empty and not an actual name?

there is no guarantee emailing the vo directly will work. if you have 1 name, then use the same name twice. they will match your inquiry to your file number and/or UCI.

Hi

How did you dealt with it? What were the steps you followed.
I am in a similar situation. Also, did you have to meet the income requirement for all the 3 years or just the year your babh was born.
Your answers can help me out in thjs situation.

Thank you in advance.
