Please wait for two or three weeks after crossing the six months mark. then raise a CSE. it is recommended....... but you can also wait....its upto u.........

I;m sorry to disagree with you .. but 2-3 weeks is a long time .. i have heard of many cases when cic was contacted right after 180 days and they received a positive response!!

Thanks Guys for help, I also got my 'Ready for Visa' mail.

AOR - 19 May
FSW outland
CPC-Ottawa

However I still need help from you guys as Passport is requested to be submitted in London but I moved back to India 3 months back. I had submitted CSE for informing CIC but didn't receive any acknowledgement on same. Would the email informing them about this suffice or do I need to add any proof sort of thing? Could any of you please help with your kind suggestion?

Send them an email to the email address mentioned in your "ready to Visa" mail. It takes them about 1-2 days to reply with new instructions. Theres no need to provide any proof, just tell them youre no longer in London.

I sent them an email on Wednesday morning India time but have not yet received new instruction. Their automatic reply states that they reply within 28 days :o if that is the case then my 30 days period to submit passport would be over. Their mail also reads if you mark email Urgent, they would reply in 24-48 hours. I did try sending them email with Urgent in subject today morning (IST) but it bounced saying their mailbox is full. I am a bit worried :-\ as just to wait or call/email them again.

Are you sure you sent to the address CPC-ottawa... ? I sent them email on Wednesday morning and got new instructions about a day later. You should try calling them then. Good luck!

I sent on the email mentioned in Ready for Visa mail. It was
LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. Do we have any other email for CPC-Ottawa?

I sent a mail with URGENT in subject as well on Friday morning and even called CIC on friday afternoon but the agent who picked was not helpful. He didnt even ask for my application number, just told me to wait for email response.

I tried calling Delhi Immigration office as well just few mins back but even they said you have to wait for response from London Office as without London Office agreement, Delhi visa office cant consider my application.

Even this post PPR thing seems to be grilling for me. Anybody any thoughts to advise me :-\

In the meantime raise a CSE and tell them to change your Local VO. See if they respond in 2-3 days.

So the timeline is this:
1. CIC updated to approved (I accidentally found out, no notification), at this moment tracking result was still "...being processed at VAC...", basically no change since submission.
2. received SMS and email from VFS, mentioning passport has been dispatched from SGVO, but nothing about collection
3. using the tracking number, I was the same info, plus "passport is ready to collect"
4. just to make sure I called VAC for a double check, they said ready to collect.
5. went to collect in person
6. received SMS from VFS saying passport already collected
7. received belated email from CIC about status update

don't worry, yours should come next week.

I still haven't received my passport yet, even tho my CIC status was updated a day before you. I called my local vfs but they have no idea. :'( :'( :'(

hey did you receive your passport back yet?

No I havent. Its been 5 days since my application got closed and approved. Even my local vfs doesnt have any idea

Everyone here has the full right to disagree of others comment. No need to sorry. I gave my opinion as many PPRs come within 6 months and 1/2weeks time.

Its ur file...go ahead with ur opinion..

First of all Congratulations!!!!!
So i send my passport on Nov 9 and was received by CIC Ottawa on Nov 10 and yesterday they dispatched my passport, so it roughly takes a week and couple of days...
but to be honest we cant predict CIC processing... if the trip is very important and you can return within 30 days time frame cool, if not ask for extension explaining your circumstances!!!

Hope that helps..
Cheers

Mavrick16, when did your R10 get completed?
