Private Message me your contact number please.
In case you are secondary applicant then no need to fill anything in work history but you should provide correct details in personal history.
No NoC required.

AFAIK,someone on the forum explained that security checks takes longer time in case of gvt employees. whereas noc may be asked by you at different levels such as while obtaining pcc or experience letter.
cic does not asks for it. I am not an expert and I have limited info.
others please confirm if someone have received pr and may throw some more light on noc thing!

Currently I am in the EE pool with 418 points and waiting for OINP to open. I am a Central PSU employee and my NOC code is 2133 (Electrical and Electronics Engineer). I am planning to pursue the PR process without letting anyone from my organisation getting to know about it.

By the way, did CIC ask for any NOC from your organisation during the processing of your application.
Thanks

I worked in a PSU in India before moving to Canada. I resigned the job only after receiving my CoPR. I don't understand why you need an NoC while applying for ITA.

Hi
I will land (soft landing) in canada in December to search for a job and will try to stay there for a month or 2 to evaluate the job market there.

I already have got PR and subsequently obtained NOC from my central govt. organization for 15 days x-India leave in December.
I will try to extend my leaves from Canada for another month or so citing medical reasons (I may not get supporting medical certificate from canada). My only worry is that whenever I will return back in India (in case I dont get a job in canada in a month or 2), I may face vigilance inquiry for over-staying and passport may be scrutinized which carries immigration stamp. What are the repercussions? Assuming in worst case, I join back my job in 1 month or so and face vigilance inquiry revealing my PR status, can they take any strong action like expulsion etc? Is holding PR along with govt job illegal?

Those who are in gov service should first see what profession has bn mentioned on their passports . In Pakistan we hv clearly written "government officer" on our passports so we can neither hide anything nor leave country without NOC from government. If there's no such thing on ur passport and you can manage other work experience then simply look for out of box solution. In case of approval of ur PR u can avail long leave without pay from ur government.
But keep it in mind once u apply for immigration u will have to maintain same work history/status even in future if u wanna apply for some other visa to visit Canada

I think some people on this thread are getting the NOC of IRCC and an NoC issued by govt. companies in India at the request of employees :D
I have also worked in a govt. company previously and had resigned the same for higher studies and I didn't have any trouble getting relieved. In fact, the company also had a provision where the employees could choose to take long leave to work abroad for a few years after a minimum of 5 years of service.

imo going for a short landing while in a govt company would be a bad idea in case complications arise and since you may be required to inform the company if you are travelling abroad for any reason. However, considering the wording in the clarification "so long as he is in Government service", I'm thinking that if an applicant submitted resignation after receiving your CoPR from the company citing say "personal reasons" and the company relieves you then there would be no problems with IRCC or the GoI. If you have enough experience and supporting documents for work done in the past then you can use that for showing those years of experience with IRCC.

If it were me I'd just go the HR department head and ask them on how to proceed, if only for peace of mind.

I have got PR and landing in December for 15 days and for that, I have also got NOC from my govt organization.
My concern is that seeing bad job market in canada, I am not willing to resign but extend my leave period for a couple of months
