Thanks Legrand & Stylove.... Guys they have also requested to send photocopies of passport by email... is it normal ? Should I send it notarized or not ?

I sent mine and that od my daughter by simple email.

I have been in Canada since December 2010, and have applied for multiple study and work permit extensions and visas since then (each with security checks of their own; since I am sure they just don't gift permits/visas without security/background checks). No idea what the hell they are doing with my application. So frustrating :'(

You are not alone. Citizens(most of them) of few countries have a longer waiting time period. One October 2014 pakistani applicant just got his PPR last week. I'm November 2014 applicant and still waiting. Our security checks are done by CSIS which further delays the processing time.

I believe you'll see your passport request soon. I have been waiting since September 2015. How did you get access GCMS notes?

Dear friends.
I have a question about filling out IMM 5669 "Antécédants/ Declaration" form. There is a question about whether I ever submitted asylum seeeker claim in Canada or any other country? I had some experience in Sweden back in 2003, but i withdrew my claim after 1 month of staying there and came back to my home country. I would really prefer not to disclose this info as the story that I used for my claim was so fake and bogus and I do not want that CIC discovered that I had lied to get a refugee status.

1. How is it ever possible that CIC can get detailed info about my claim? Can it be disclosed to a third country authorities?
2. Is this form for the information about the past 10 yrs or it covers all my life?

If you have any specific info about that, I would really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

please expert urgent help need for correction CSQ before federal stage....

please I got CSQ and there is small printing mistake on my name I called CIC agent asked me to send CSQ along with passport copy or birth certificate copy to the address where I send my file before.But agent mention me department which I couldn't understand clearly because of there french accent. She mention like DCEEC.Is there any department like that or is there anybody with same issues which I have? Please advice me what to do....many thanks

Hi everyone,

I applied for PR under QSSW - Regular foreign student stream. I sent my application from Montreal to CIO Sydney after I got my CSQ. So far, got my AOR and request to pay PR fee.

My question is: on the application form for PR, QSS Workers are not required to submit IELTS or Fench proficiency tests . I want to know if I should expect to receive a request to submit them anytime soon as I dont want to be caught off guard since the test scores are valid for 2 years and they're expired by now.

You already got CSQ so you will never be asked for any language exam at federal stage and this is shown in federal application, you already filled it and saw if you have CSQ so no language test required

Thx for your answer. I was reading through the thread and noticed some people were asked to submit their IELTS test scores and that's when I started to freak out lol. I sent my application in August got my AOR in november. Im on a PGWP so yes im currently working
