Not directly related to the post but could someone here answer following question:

Assuming I arrived in Oct 2013 in Canada, me and my spouse meet LICO requirements for 2014, 2015. My spouse met the LICO requirments for 2013, If I add my spouse as a co-signer, Will I be able to apply for my parents in Jan 2017 assuming we both meet LICO requirements in 2016?

Order your gcms notes. The notes may provide you some details on why there is a delay. It sounds like your file has been sent for a secondary review. Did your family circumstances change in anyway.

How it's possible?? I don't understand... We are waiting almost 5 years and don't get applroval yet, but CIC started to send approval for people who applied just 2 years ago... Why?

thanks for ur suggestion soonihope. i called CIC and they told me tht they r really sorry b`coz its overdue so the lady on the phone she said she put the request in immigration department and they will contact me within a month. i called them on 19 th january 2016 so do i have to wait for one month or go for GCMS notes. please give me advise.
my son born in 2013 but i inform them in 2014.

I am going to write to my MP, and the Immigration Minister's office that it's unfair how CIC is approving sponsorship applications of people who applied in January, 2014 and will demand an explanation how they justify this practice. I urge everyone to do the same and put pressure on CIC. If they keep transferring 2014 applications to LVO's, they will be ahead of us when ours get transferred to LVO's, and we will get extra years of delay due to this injustice. Immigration minister had made it clear that all applications received up to November, 2011 will be processed before 2014 applications. What is going on here??

contacted all of you old rules guys 1 year back get request for updated statements. Many get approval, & many get second review. Few 2014 people pass first review. This is normal in later processing.

Nobody from May 2011 - November 2011 doesn't receive sponsorship apptoval yet... What are you talking about???

We are OK that 2014 applicants start receiving approval but what about us???

No one from May, 2011 to November, 2011 batch has received sponsorship approval yet. So it's not about second review, it is about completely bypassing this batch of applications and starting to approve applications from Jan, 2014. I would be glad to see all applications (including 2009 ones) to be processed in the order they were received for the sake of fairness. But I am complaining to my MP about my own case. You are welcome to complain to your MP about your own case if you were treated unfairly and I wouldn't have any problem at all for applications submitted before mine to be processed ahead of mine.

You need to wait untill July...
