Cryonn, assuming you are from India, after discussing with your manager you can have the job roles and responsibilities printed on a stamp paper and have your manager's reference on the same(no signature required) just a bottom statement that he is willing to confirm the content of the doc anytime when contacted over his/her email(personal) or phone. A colleague of mine did the same for one of his previous job where he could not get it from the employer on a proper letter head. See if this helps you.

Infosys will issue the letter but without job responsibilities - rest all will be covered. Tell them it is urgent and a mandatory requirement for you. They will write everything except job responsibilities on the letter.

Who are we supposed to contact to get this at Infosys? I spoke to the HR co-ordinating with me and she has left the company apparently and just asked me to contact the company. I have requested for the same from the separation portal, yet to hear back from anybody.

But that wont be enough right?

Yes it will be fine when you get an email from the supervisor confirming job responsibilities. I added letter without responsibilities, email from supervisor and promotion letters and the most important - email from HR confirming they can NOT issue letter with responsibilities.

Thank you Deepak. I have my relieving letter from Infosys and they also informed they wont issue any other letter beyond this.

Attach this email with your application. See my latest post

Experts, any advice on this. We need the manager to sign the affidavit or will an email suffice, confirming the roles and responsibilities?

Email from manager and email from HR that they can't issue the responsibilities. Worked for me mate. I've not done notarization.

For job duties and responsibilities, can we give a self declaration and have it notarized? I am in Toronto and my current employer will not mention duties and responsibilities in the reference letter. Thoughts?

Self-declaration won't do at all.

You said in #2 post that there is a "CIC format"??

Can you explain a little more?

Not all firms/company/government around the world would strictly follow a "CIC format"

Hi Seniors,

Recently received PT notification of Ontario and Im preparing my documents. Question I have is, I'm working in the same company since 2008 but from 2011 - 2015(May) I was deputed to Canada and came back to India.

In EE profile I put experience in 3 records with
1.2008 -2010 (India),
2.2011-2015(May) Canada,
3.2015(May) - till date (India)

Presently working in the same organization and I would like to know how many letters I have to produce?

I doubt organization would provide letters but before reaching them I want to make sure I'm clear on employment letters. Please guide me!!

Also it applies in which stream we are applying for. I applied to OINP in CEC, I did not submitted any reference letters for my past employers. I submitted only the reference letter from the current employer and all experience certificates. Btw my nomination is approved and ofcourse it depends on the VO :)

So you did mention past experience and current experience. but you only submitted current reference letter. what other documents did you submit for past experience. I am also applying for OINP under CEC. I can only submit paystubs from Infosys and offer letter. For current, I can provide everything. so not an issue. Only concern is related to past experience. Can you let us know how did you explain about past experience.

Hi China.cse,

Could you help here on how your went? I was wondering if I should mention only India or the UK (like you were in Canada) as well, adding UK brings more complexity to the experience letters.

Could you help with how you proceeded and what was the result.

Thanks.
