Can anyone tell me that i m a Electrical Engineer, does my profession is regulated in Manitoba !!! if yes then what do i have to do in process of applying for MINP !!! any help would b highly appreciated !!!

Your occupation code is NOC 2113, so please go to jobbank.gc.ca to confirm, I have checked and found that NOC 2113 is REGULATED.

In Jobbank.gc.ca, you should choose the Explore Careers/ Occupations and next menu, you choose the location is Winnipeg.
After searching, in next menu, you choose the "Education and requirements (at right screen).

hi easud. i don't think someone in our group can tell you what are the chances for your score. we can only wait until the lowest ranking points in the draw reaches your points. but speaking of "chance", when you filled up your EOI and you read something that says you're qualified, then there is always chance and hope!

Hi all please help,

I have received LAA and now I am in process of sending application. But as I filled up my employment details, it showed the following error in the last tab "Review & Submit":

""Your total years of full time working is less than as was specified in the EOI-SW (see 'Review EOI-SW' in Review & Submit).""

In my EOI-SW, I answered that I worked 5 YEARS FULL TIME in past 5 years. While filling up the application after receiving LAA, I found that if I enter the data as follows then it shows the above error:

example not working but it's factual dates:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 23-09-2013 to present

But if I use the following details and overlap the dates of both jobs then the above error is not there.

Example which is working but not fact as the dates are overlapping:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 22-09-2013 to present

So can you please advise whether you faced any of such problem or if you have any solution?

By sharing this info here, you are in a way educating other applicants who will be experiencing the same hurdle.

As per your question, I didn't have the same coz Ive been with my present company for more than 5 years now.

And with you having such issue only proves that the MPNP's system counter doesn't accept even just a day less than the required 5 yrs full working experience.

So, in order for you to finally submit your full application you have to mention the dates you mentioned above. Anyhow, it will be easy for you to explain it in case you will be asked during the interview.

My advise will be to adopt the second option since the total number of years worked on both jobs exceed the 5 year you had mentioned in your EOI application. I guess the system may be seeing one day gap between 22-09-2013 and 23-09-2013, thereby only accepting that your second job should commence the same date you left the first job.

You may want to do a print screen of the error encountered when you entered 23-09-2013 as the commencement date of your second job for your record in order to explain why you use 22-09-2013 should the need arise during interview or alternative send MPNP an email to seek clarification.

December 2010 – Present (Workforce Scheduling Analyst) -4 years and 6 months
October 2008 – June 2010 (Workforce Real Time Analyst) - 1 year and 8 months
November 2007 – April 2008 (Medical Claims Transaction Processor)

gaps between June 2010 and December 2010 will not count?
im halfway near my 5th year in my current job, but i input (5) in this question "How many years of full-time work experience do you have in the past 5 years?" because i sum them up. need your thoughts please.


anyhow, i updated my EOI application just to make sure (i checked and 4-5yrs has the same points for work experience (75) so i guess that won't matter)

Last updated date: 23-Jun-2015

easud, yes, as long as you have your transcript + diploma/certificate, I dont think the MPNP will not accept it.
