Hello seniors or any pharmacist here. I am trying to fill my educational history and as master degree or degree required to work in license profession what should i enter as i get my eca report from PEBC and on report it says bachelor of science in pharmacy degree (5 years). But on cic site any degree that is required to work in lincense profession is equal to masters. What should i enter???

Whats your qualification??? B pharm/m pharm/pharm D??

I got my WES assessment as master degree in pharmacy. Hence I didnt have any issues with selection education. But for u its 5 years bachelor degree which I dont know y..

And thanks alot for reply.. Whats your qualification? And how many years ? Coz pebc send me a report which i dont know why its equal to bachelors

I did b pharm (4 years) and then M pharm (2 years) and fortunately evaluation report states Canadian equivalency is equal to masters degree.

Hi Malik... your pharmacy degree is a professional Bachelor degree which will reward you the points for Master level so while filing your EE you will chose Master degree or entry to practice professional degree .. Pebc ECA that states you have a Bachelor degree will be enough to get rewarded Master degree points.. why they did not state you have a Master degree in ECA?!!! the answer is simple.. coz you have a bachelor degree not a master ...
Rahul .. make sure that u r applying for something else other than NOC 3131 (pharmacist) like R&D , QC or medical rep or whatever occupation but pharmacist.. coz PEBC is the only assessing authority for that NOC 3131 and WES ECA will not be accepted

Sorry to hijack the topic, but I have a concern. Now, I have a BPharm but worked ONLY in pharma sales, and the PEBC ECA. I've applied as Primary Occupation and Pharma Sales. Is the PEBC ECA report valid or does it have to be from WES?

as u rightly pointed out, I m not applying under pharmacist category. I m working in pharmacovigilance field and not as a pharmacist.

Actually i'm not sure about that ... but the best to my knowledge that PEBC is so specific for that occupation ( Pharmacist ) .. but confirm please as i'm not 100% sure .. thanks

I think that shud be fine. WES report is not valid if u r applying as pharmacist but I guess PEBC evaluation can be used for all occupations..

That's my thought, an ECA is an ECA, regardless if I worked/working as a pharmacist.

Another question. The PEBC ECA report request form asks for a Name of Witness and Signature. Does anyone know who should that be?
