Hello everyone!

thank you for all the help so far, on the last few bits of our application and we are just preparing to write a letter to include with out application from my spouse (whose canadian and sponsoring me) as we have been advised due to his low income $8000ish a year to do this. I am just wondering if anyone else has done this and if anyone has an ideas what to include on this or how it should be written. He has never been on welfare on EI , Is always employed (be it part time as he has a small business of his own that has profits of less than $2000 a year) We also live in a house with a room-mate (well im not there now but it is where we would be moving back into) so that makes our rent pretty cheap at like $700 each, we can also get a letter from his mum stating she could support us or house us if we needed, but we wouldn't need that. Should i include he has a small buisness, its reported to CRA but hasnt become incorporated yet. Any ideas would be much appreciated!!!

As long as he's not drawing social assistance, it should be fine. I will however suggest that it may not hurt to mention the support from his mum, and also mention the small business - couldn't hurt.

My wife's parents signed a letter together saying that they will help us at the beginning.
They also rented us an small apartment and we sent the contract attached and a letter from her college showing that she will end her course on July and will stay work soon.

Hi sooki189, what did you end up sending? And did CIC request more information? I'm applying outland and getting together documents to prove we will both support ourselves.
