VISA pending! Chandigarh Office

I applied on 12/06/2014 through vfs (CVAC) office to CHC Chandigarh, my student visa is still pending. On the other hand, New Delhi office has given visa to students who applied on 14/06/2014.

I guess by Friday you should get the visa/approval-mail. I'm suspecting this on the basis of a similar case - a friend of mine, who applied in Chandigarh office (under university category for fall2014) was granted visa after 15 days.

Or else by Monday(maximum) you will definitely get the approval mail. Arguably, time varies on the documentation provided but I think 15 days is a max.

So, wait a little more. Good luck!

Dont compare with others mate.
Two people from this forum applied on same date at same vfs at chc delhi and one got visa in 6 days n other has not heard anything yet(more than 30 days now).
You will get only when they give.You cant do anything else but wait only.

Relax meagan99. It has just been 10 business days since you applied. I can understand what you are going through. But I have a strong feeling that you will get it very soon... ;D

No one knows the maximum time mate.People are waiting from 30-35 days(excluding weekends).

I said the same thing, time varies. There may be few cases like that but I'm just being generic here. You are right though, nobody knows the maximum time. However, personally I haven't met anyone in whose case it took more that 15days in Chandigarh office and that too in University category. Keep calm Meagen99 and rest I can't say anything.

Mate, usually they take time from chandigarh office bcz huge no. of visa applications are received by thm. So they take good time w.r.t other visa offices. Have patience u vl receive a good news. Dont wry !!!!
