hi rocky12,

before i go ahead and give my opinion i have few questions to ask first:
1)what is your timeline and job title?
2)did you get medical request or did it in advance?
3)did you get the RPRF request or not yet?
4)did you include all reference letters with duties when you submit your application?
5)have you ordered GCMS notes after medical request if yes then what does it say under ELIGIBILITY?

i hope you can give more details so I and seniors can help you because it seems strange to get a job verification call after the medical request, the officer must have some concerns about your job duties and if your employment is genuine or not for sure.

wow this is new.

Are you sure it was not a scam call? Cause some frauds are running some immigration scam.

You should contact CIC about the call.

it could be a scam like iamroth mentioned but i doubt it since they called the employer first then the applicant and it sounds legitimate since they didn't ask for any money.
it will be helpfull if you can share the number from which you received the call rocky12?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
This can and does happen. Cic can call at anytime. Refer to op25a. They can even do site visits if they feel.it is necessary.

They do random checks sometimes. As long as everything is legit you will be fine

What is your full timeline? App sent, received, mr, meds done etc. What does your ecas say?

Well if I were you I wouldn't be overly concerned.

What is your timeline?

RPRF request is more secure then medical request, because the rprf email states that eligibility is passed so medical is not 100% a guarantee.
but as jsm0085 suggested cic can do random checks on randomly selected applications,i wouldn't worry about it if everything is legit and in order.

Yes confirm with CIC, ask for identification if they call again politely. Any genuine CIC personnel will verify their identity gladly.

Also don't give out sensitive information without verifying.

CIC can check up on your employer any day. But this like never happens. That's why I am asking you to be careful.
