My Status turned 20 today. Applied Sept 8
I was able to link it to Gckey and it says the application is in progress.

Does anyone know how long it will take them to mail the card ?

It was strange to be asked to submit physical copy of photo.

it’s a bit unusual since the application was submitted online. However, IRCC may request a physical photo if the original digital photo doesn’t meet their requirements. Hopefully, this helps others who face the same situation.

Just logged in into the PR portal it says application returned and they’re asking me to submit a new photo anybody experienced this when I upload the photo. Will it take the same processing time or it’s faster?

yes it happened to me but since you can acknowledge it and tick that box after uploading it and then its up to the officer later they might accept it or deny it. Most of the time its glitch and eventually accepted by the officer . If they find any issue then they will reach out to you and ask to upload again

I had my application returned due to photo, the stamped date in the back shows 2028. I just wanna make sure its the right picture. Should i change brightness or just submit it as is?

Pixels were never the issue before but stamp was so i won’t suggest you that you should filter the photo. Upload as it is with new date on the back side. For many applicants system doesn’t accept the photo because of pixels or brightness or too dark. But still people acknowledge it and upload it so eventually it’s getting accepted by IRCC
