Just apply again, there’s no reason to wait
My MP office supposedly applied again for me, still waiting since my unsuccessful first attempt back around May :) Anyhow, I am just giving it its time to finalize. No point of being frustrated as we all cannot control the uncontrollable.

Finally applied for my GCMS notes from IRCC. Let's see what comes back.

Also - I've gotten faster responses from CBSA before, but unlike a PR app, I'm not sure if CBSA would have anything at all regarding a citizenship application..

If you apply through CBSA with the same request (eg for all citizenship-related documents, notes, and records) you'll basically get the same info as from IRCC.

But - ironically to some - often more quickly and possibly slightly fewer redactions, or at least different in form (which can allow you to read between the lines a bit).

Ahhh - that's exactly what I did last time (for my PR app) and that's also exactly what happened (CBSA came thru before IRCC).

But right now I have a different, unrelated PA request with CBSA - I've never tried to have multiple outstanding PA requests before with the same agency. Now, it seems like this shouldn't be an issue (if they look like they're for unrelated things - which they are - they'll just be assigned to two different people and handled in order; worst case, if they look like the same request, they could get merged or at least handled by the same staff worker, not a big deal) - but do let me know if I'm missing something.

Ah, don't know about that.
