Hello there,

I am working as a front end supervisor, but my paystub says as a cashier. My employer is ready to provide a reference letter stating Supervisor tile as well as roles and responsibilities. He is also ready to mention in the letter that due to payroll system limitations we are not able to provide the Supervisor title.
Will there be any problem due to this?

Any leads and solution is appreciated!

How much are you being paid? Are you being paid a cashier or supervisory salary?

For a few hours, I am paid 1 dollar extra and few just the base pay

In that case there's a high risk IRCC will say you are not in a supervisory role and won't allow you to claim work experience under this NOC.

If you want to claim your work experience in the supervisory NOC, then all of your hours need to be paid as a supervisor.

I have received an invitation, but not the PR card. so cannot say exactly what will happen
any update?
I have similar situation.
I want to know if you provided any letter of explaination with paystub.

In my case, I am part-time, So I worked both Cashier and Customer service clerk/Fronend Supervisior but got paid .65$ extra only. since I was hired as cashier that's my primary job,so paystub is showing Cashier but It also say relif pay extra .65$ * (hrs for Customer service clerk/Fronend Supervisior) for particular week.

please, I required guidence.

Given your primary job is cashier then that is your NOC. Occasional other roles will not be an issue and won’t be considered but you could include a letter explaining the relief pay.

Thank you for the information you provided .

For now, I have put customer serivce clerk as retail sale supv NOC in CEC and applied for NSPNP with letter explaining the pay.

I will finish two years of experience in March but if I consider Customer service experience then My two years are already finished. so if I get invitation now, then I would have to proof that I worked as supervisior. In March, I will have proper 2 year of expereince in TEER 2 role anyways, so if they review my file after the application then I will still have two years finished without customer service experience.

Hopefully, there will not be any issues in March.

Without more details hard to comment but with the information you have provided there are some red flags if you have already applied. For example there should be a much bigger difference in pay between a cashier and a supervisor. Would highly suggest you consult with an immigration lawyer or consultant about your application because of you apply and then are denied then you may have difficulty qualifying to apply again. What NOC you select and if it is the proper NOC is one of the biggest reasons why people’s application are refused.
