Hello Everyone,
My friend has been selected for Express of Interest in Alberta as NOC 33102 under teer 3, Here are her language results 8 in speaking, 8 in listening , 7 in writing and 5 in Reading. It says in language eligibility that minimum in each section has to be 5.
When she started filling the AAIP, it says she is not eligible in the language section and she also wrote the French exam.

Please can someone help with the eligibility in the Rural Renewal Stream in Alberta. Or is she not understanding something or was it a tech error, she is just confused.

Thanks,

Luckywoman.

All in the requirements. Just read the site. Tell her to hire a lawyer to help.

This is the site we followed everything as it is on the web and she has English and she also passed the French. So, it is said minimum score for language is 5 in each language skill section. She had Speaking 8, listening 9, writing 7 and reading 5. and also pass her French exam. When i input the figures, it says she does not meet the minimum requirement for Language. So, I think it should be a technical error. I have sent them an email, its long weekend so i will be waiting to see what they say.

I think in this Case lawyer can not do anything.

Thanks.

Well she is the one applying not you, unless you are here appointed representative. So she calls them next week.

Has she got a job offer?
Yes, she studied in Alberta, she is working full time as a Health Care Aide for one year now and she also wrote the French Exam and French results are 448. speaking, reading, 13, listening 308 and writing 5, and her Englis results are 8 for listening 8, writing is 7 and 5 for reading. English is her first language and French is 2nd language. I think she is qualified, I ask her to send them an email.

For the Rural Renewal Stream, Alberta requires a minimum of CLB 5 in each English skill for TEER 0–3 occupations. If her scores are IELTS General Training results Speaking 8, Listening 8, Writing 7 and Reading 5 they appear to meet that minimum. However, there is a special rule for NOC 33102 under the Alberta Opportunity Stream, which requires CLB 7 in each skill. This may explain the ineligibility message if she accidentally selected that stream.
