Hello I applied for my spousal pr in Feb 09 2026 and most of is done but stuck on background check and any one let when can I expect passport request my spouse in India

Background process is the one that takes the most time. It ranges anytime from 3 months once it begins to 12 months.
Most Indian applicant's do fall in the 3 to 6 months time though.
Hi, I have filled my spousal pr application to sponsor my wife and have some question if anyone can kindly help as I was hoping to know how others who received AORs have filled these questions.
IMM5532 form Relationship information:
1. In this form what should I enter in To date for my current occupation? should I leave it blank?
2. Similarly what should I enter in To date for my address history? Should I leave it blank?

Question on Education:
How to split Primary and high school years. In southern Indian state boards we have 12 years of schooling from kindergarten and 1st grade to 10th grade. Then 2 years of Higher Secondary education also known as 11th and 12th standard. So should I enter the number of years under Primary/elementary as 12 and then 2 years under High school/secondary?
IMM5562:
Is this form not mandatory? Should the sponsor(myself) also add my travel history under Section B spouse's travel history.

IMM5532 1&2 - I printed it and wrote current in the to field and then scanned it in after.
IMM5669 - I guess I would just split it as 10 and 2. If I need to explain anything I typed out the explanation - one page per IMM form, and then titled it "IMM5669 - Addendum" and added it to the "other" document.
IMM5562 - Not all countries require it. When you select what country your spouse is from it will tell you the forms that you need. I did not add my travel history.

Strange things are happening.My rep contacted Ircc to lnow the status of my application since we received nothing from april30,2026.We came to know that biometric and medical request have already been sent on april 22,2026 .But neither my rep nor applicant or sponser received any email abou it in inbox,junk or spam.So the ircc agent said they will re send it.Raised a webform and got medical extension(already done) and biometric letter with original dates (april 22,2026) and correspondence email from ircc about forwarding copies of original required docs.Biometric will be done tomorrow.However did anything like this happened? Will it affect my application.Although I recived pre arrival april 30,2026. Very weird thing…dont know whats happening .

hi All, I am a July 2026 Spousal sponsorship applicant and I just realised (almost after 1 month into submission) that I did not fill the names in IMM 5406 form in my native language. Does that impact AOR? Anyone who received an AOR without submitting your details in native language, please guide! Thanks!

Has IRCC stopped replying to web forms ? I just recently updated the mailing address and also raised an web form asking for an update on the application.
But I have not received replies on either of my webforms. What is the alternative we have to get latest status of application as the tracker is still down and no hopes of it getting up any time soon,

Nothing.. I think they are going to process eligibility and security together toward the very end... then quick PPR and/or portals probably..
