No update since than.

Biometrics: September 23, 2025
Eligibility shows as completed
Got sponsor eligibility letters.

Got an extension on my PGWP with my AOR. November 2025 - November 2027
Changed my job; submitted a webform in November 2025. Upon calling, they updated my job in January 2026

Reached out to my MP for an update and learned the Security Check hasn't started since August.
Background check: in progress.
Criminal Background: Passed
Security Background: Not Started
No medical requested yet

I got laid off in August 2026 and also got a job in 2026; I'm just waiting for another pay stub so I can submit another webform. ( ( I think another webform now will delay it even more )

I called IRCC yesterday, and they said the security check hadn't started as of yesterday.
Tracker is down too. Does anyone know how we can link our application to "Client Application Status"?

Hey hey!!

If you want to, you can (peace of mind) ; mine wasn't as helpful, but some MP's are super nice and actually help out. I would say reaching out and asking isn't a bad move at all. But also be mentally prepared for them to give you the same information that you already have.

When I contacted my MP, the person who reached out to the officer only gave me the information about the background check, mentioning that I passed the criminal check and my security background check hasn't started yet. Other than that, she did'nt provide anything. Hope it works out for you.
