It's possible if your husband has a strong profile but don't mention your pregnancy as his reason to visit. It's not valid for a visitor visa.
I agree, to a point, because the AOR simply means that IRCC has simply received the sponsorship application; nothing more.
It does, however, speak to the couple officially starting the process I suppose.
because ircc clearly states the "dual intent trv" for spouses who want to apply for visitor visa after they filed their outland application.
To be able to apply for dual-intent trv- IRCC says your outland file must have received AOR so that trv officer can easily pull your outland spousal file increasing chance for trv apporvals.
minimum to minimum is to have AOR before applying for dual intent trv
best case scenario- apply when you got AOR/SA Letter/BIL/MIL

so interesting how we were just talking about it yesterday and here they approved dual intent this morning.
TRV is different than visitor record. He wouldn’t qualify to apply for a TRV from Canada as a visitor and his TRV application would not help in this situation because it is only required to try to enter Canada.
What is his current status and when does it expire? Have a plan B just in case he can’t remain in Canada. Is he the one who worked in the US without status and if so when? When did he enter Canada?
