Hey all,

I have questions why IRCC officer doesn’t allow any one including my MP to give them full information about my application? Even I have requested CSM NOTES 2 months ago twice no response.

Please see the last update from the MP. What do you think how long will take them to give me FD?

I hope you are doing well.

We have contacted Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on your behalf and received the following update regarding your application:

  • Application submitted: August 14, 2026
  • Processing office: Mississauga
  • Eligibility: Passed
  • Medical: Passed
  • Criminality: In progress
  • Security: Not started
  • The application remains within normal processing times, with approximately 1 month remaining.
  • IRCC advised that there are currently approximately 3,200 applications ahead of yours in the processing queue.

IRCC also noted that another Member of Parliament's office contacted them regarding your application on August 11, 2026.

Please note that IRCC's processing system is centralized, and inquiries from different Members of Parliament's offices generally do not impact the processing of an application. For any future inquiries, we kindly ask that you contact your local Member of Parliament's office for assistance.

At this time, IRCC has not provided any additional updates regarding the anticipated completion date of your application.

It’s especially frustrating when the person who needs the card urgently is the one whose application is still stuck in review. It’s especially frustrating when the person who needs the card urgently is the one whose application is still stuck in review.

Regarding the GCMS notes, two months without receiving them is definitely frustrating. You may want to follow up with the ATIP/IRCC office about the outstanding requests. Though the MP cannot force IRCC to finalize the application or provide an exact date for the final decision.

Nothing:(

I don’t understand .. thy ask for documents and we submit it in same time. Why thy delay the application
And the same documents already submitted when I apply the PR APPLICATION

This is unfair
Even if you submitted the same documents with the original application, IRCC can request them again for verification or an updated review.
The recent progress on your wife’s eligibility is a positive sign. Hopefully, the remaining checks are completed soon and you receive P1/P2 and eCoPR without much more waiting. n
