PRTD on HUMANITARIAN AND COMPASSIONATE GROUNDS

I applied for PRTD on h&c grounds on 30th june 2026 from pakistan through online pr portal
My current GCkey account status says

Final Decision-25th August 2026, Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

People on fb and ri are saying this means an approval and u will get a passport request soon but its more than 2 weeks now and i have not received any update

Can anybody explain who has gone through this. I am really anxious and i am checking my account every hour but there is no update

That is fairly fast processing so tough to say whether approved or refused. Your profile and reason for applying may give a better indication about whether it is more likely to be approved or not. Final decision status is really for IRCC staff records and doesn’t provide an indication on when you should receive correspondence. That being said I would suspect you will likely hear from IRCC this week or next week.
