you can check in your gcms notes under security section and the common reason is country of birth
countries like iran,china and some african countries

Same here. 2023 March applied, 2025 March comprehensive check start after asking for military documents.

Same actually , in march they asked for fbi report and I’ve sent. But gcms notes says at same time they sent it to cbsa comprehensive check . Now at the disturbed to other partner . I don’t have government, military, job history.

It’s not based on the country of birth. Thousands of Iranians got their fd without going through the comprehensive check. It’s just random I think as everything else is in the IRCC

Asked for military exemption on june 17
After 2 months nothing happened...
MPs emailed last week :
All assessments are complete except Security. Your military records are under validation, and IRCC is waiting for the required security clearance reports to finalize your PR application.
