God be praised. After 38 months of waiting, we finally received our P1 today at 5:10pm today.

When i called IRCC last friday, I was informed security was in progress, and my officer had about 7 applicants before me, so to estimate a decision in about a month...so you can imagine my surprise, i screamed for joy so loud that it scared my kids. Keep hope alive folks. God Bless

I called IRCC today and they said that security check has started. I am June 2023 applicant.
When can I expect FD.
Any body can suggest please.

Two days before the final decision, my Security/ Background check was not even started and info-sharing was not completed, so you will get good news next week.

When I called, they said that info-sharing is complete and criminality is in the process. I don't understand at all. What is the order of them? It's different for everyone.

Look at it this way...non of the info that they share is accurate...i got my pr literally but the platform says there 15k ppl in front of me...security check was done for me long time ago...but they didn't check cause they didn't have the capacity for the year to accept me as a pr...all the games they play...so yea...security can turn to complete in 1 day

Hello anyone experienced this or has an idea. November 2023 application received pre-arrival and eligibility letter in 2025 January. Medical passed criminality and security all passed on the 9th of July 2026. Comfirmed by IRCC and my MP. received 1 ghost update on the 17th of July 2026. But up until now no FD yet. Is this normal please pr when am i likely to receive it. Thanks for your opinions.

After my PR application got approved and then I received eCoPR I checked my GCKey and My security check was done on Jan but when I requested the GCMS note back on June it was saying not started!!

So It’s clear for me that they are controlling what they want you to see! :s

ECOPR - 26th June
PR Card Final Decision - 23rd July
GCKey Status Update - 29th July - Card mailed
PR Card Delivered - 5th August

Applied for PR in August 2023, card delivered 3 years later August 2026 but I am grateful. Good lucky everyone!

I also was asked to resubmit a new Background A form, my security started shortly after that, still in progress a month later now, not sure what’s going on

For me they asked A and B both. Idk my security takes 1-2 years that’s what i have heard and it’s kinda scared me
