I have applied for study visa from india in july 2026 .Still after few days i have not received any updates.My classes will start from sept 2026 so will i get my visa in time .Can people tell what is timeframe in which thy get any result.
Yes biometrics and medical is already done.As my classes will start on 9 sept so my main concern is whether will i get any result by aug 1st or 2nd week in that case i will have time for passport stamping .

I don't know if you will get a response by August 1. You are still within processing times so if you don't have a response by mid August then send a webform. Have a Plan B.
Hi friends, its been 7+ weeks since I submitted my study permit application. the processing time shown on IRCC then and even now is 6-weeks. I have done my biometrics and IRCC says I dont need medicals. I am close to school start year but no status update on my visa. I have submitted a webform with the same few days ago but no reply. What country are you applying from? Is that your country of citizenship? Processing times are estimates and can take longer if background/security check is not completed and eligibility has not started.

Thanks dear. applying from Ethiopia. both background check and eligibility says "in progress" and has been in this status for the last 7 weeks. Nothing has moved or changed from my online status since submission and IRCC's confirmation of application receipt the day after I submitted. So I don't know what to expect at this point.
So nothing you can do. Nothing has been completed. Did you complete your medical? If not and no answer by end of August then contact school about deferring. Or find out last day that you can start classes. Still need to factor in passport stamping if approved.
