Anyone Else Waiting for Their Hearing to Be Scheduled?

Has anyone here called the IRB to ask about the status of their case?

I’ve been calling for the past 6 months and every time they tell me the same thing: my case is ready but is still waiting to be scheduled. It’s been the exact same response every time. I applied in September 2024.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how long did you have to wait before you finally received your hearing date?

This isn’t unusual. Many are waiting around 3 years for a hearing and wait times keeps increasing due to the ever growing backlogs. There are some attempts to reform the system coming to try to process applications faster. All you can do is wait.
