How long is it taking in Vancouver to go from LPP complete to Oath? If there's any recent Vancouver people who got Oath please share your timelines.

Ordered my GCMS notes to see what's going on with my app. Well at least I will see what office it is at.

Well, I did the same thing yesterday. At least we could know a thing or two about our applications.

I have the feeling that January 2026 applications are much slower than those submitted in February and March 2026.

Certainly seems that way, looking at some of the posts on here

Hey @russ6970

I am in a similar timeline as you are also over 55 so no Exam and Language requirements.

Have also considered ordering GCMS, but afraid weather that could have any negative impact in terms of progress of overall application.

I don't think it has any bearing on the application, apart from getting information tbh. Kinda hoping it has the opposite effect and kick the application into life again, but doubt it. Have done it when I applied for PR as well.

@russ6970
I am also considering applying.
Just to confirm: It is applied under ATIP and called "Application Summary - An electronic overview of the application's current status, including processing notes"
I didn't see the word GCMS mentioned anywhere.

Fair. gcsm-notes.ca appears to be a third-party company. Is there any benefits of going through them and not directly to IRCC ?
On hindsight I should have looked to see if it was a trusted website, but didnt. It gets a medium score on scam detector. If I would have seen that first, I wouldnt have used it.

Subject: Waiting for second test invite
Hello All,

I took my citizenship test on May 18 however their website/sw glitched, and it did not ask for my ID before starting the test, then after one month of wait they asked for a PDF of the ID which I sent immediately and later on they invalidated my results (which I pass 19/20) saying we could not verify you and will be sending you another invite soon, it has been 3 weeks since I got that reply. How long does the second test invite take to arrive? Anybody else in the same boat?
Applied Jan 23, 2026. IRCC says do not call us, we cannot do anything!
STILL NO UPDATES, have not got the invite so far. I now feel the pain of the others, I really hope their customer service could have been a bit better. Keen to know if there was/is somebody in the same boat.

Congrats. So, your background & LPP never changed from In Progress at all?
