I feel you, my buddy! But there's nothing that we can do at this stage. Let's wait and see patiently, my friend, as any journey must have an end!!I was hoping I would get an update before Canada Day, but unfortunately not. Looks like people living in the bigger places are getting updates.
My spouse got an ADR from IRCC after her test, saying they could not verify her ID during the test video as it appeared to be blurry and asked her to submit photo ID again. She submitted it, and they updated the test result to complete after 10 days. Hopefully, you will receive a second test invitation shortly!!Subject: Waiting for second test invite
Hello All,
I took my citizenship test on May 18 however their website/sw glitched, and it did not ask for my ID before starting the test, then after one month of wait they asked for a PDF of the ID which I sent immediately and later on they invalidated my results (which I pass 19/20) saying we could not verify you and will be sending you another invite soon, it has been 3 weeks since I got that reply. How long does the second test invite take to arrive? Anybody else in the same boat?
Applied Jan 23, 2026. IRCC says do not call us, we cannot do anything!
thanks mate. Do you think once the test is passed the second time (hopefully they pass), the rest of the checks will pass relatively quickly (in a day or two) or will they also be taking proportionally long. So far, only Background has passed (in Mar) while I see others have been getting Oath invitations and a few even got their certificates. My spouse got an ADR from IRCC after her test, saying they could not verify her ID during the test video as it appeared to be blurry and asked her to submit photo ID again. She submitted it, and they updated the test result to complete after 10 days. Hopefully, you will receive a second test invitation shortly!!
All I can say is, I applied on the same date as you and my LPP is still in progress, even though I don't need to do the language test or the citizenship test (55+), so you are well ahead of me. I have lived here 11 years and have to get security clearance for my job (which has been done multiple times), so these updates just seem to be random at the best of times.Everyone’s heard me vent before, but it’s so unfair I applied Jan 6 and still do not have oath invite though everything was completed early June. This despite very late applicants already having theirs and all I hear is « don’t compare timelines. ». Easier said than done. I’ve lived here 12 years, applied Jan 6, paid the same fee as everyone else. Some Feb applicants have theirs. Why do I keep getting passed over?
