Hi everyone. I am in the exact same position. As soon as I found that my work was unauthorized, I submitted my PGWP application with a LOE, immediately stopped working, and asked my employer to pause my employment till my PGWP gets authorized under the advice of a International Student Immigration Advisor at the University of Toronto.

For those who have been in this situation: Can I now resume working full-time while I wait my decision? I was advised against it by the International Student Immigration Advisor with reference to the section below found on this page:

Work while we process your application​

You can work full-time until we make a decision on your work permit application if you

• had a valid study permit at the time you submitted your application
• completed your study program
• were eligible to work off campus without a work permit while studying and you didn’t work more hours than you were allowed to

Unauthorized because I started working before submitting my PGWP application.

The last of my final grades came out on May 29th. I started working on June 17th, took personal unpaid leave from June 18-28 due to graduation and family trip, and returned to work on June 29th till July 13th, when I realised my work was unauthorized. This is a total of 10 business days that I have worked unauthorized.

So you don't say when you applied for PGWP but nothing you can do now. No need to be on personal unpaid leave because you worked for one day prior.
