I am canadian Citizen and My sister is Single mother. She has applied for Tourist visa for 4 times but unfortunately all time refusal.

I applied for GCMS notes, but it shows

1. The applicant's assets and financial situation are insufficient to Support the stated purpose of travel for themselves ( and any accompanying family memebrs )
2. The purpose of the applicant's visit to Canada is not consistant with the temporary stay given the details provided in the application

Then its mentioned in GCMS notes " I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by prapgragh 179(b) of the IRPR

All four times its the same reason.

Below is my sister profile

1. She is working with one of most reputed US bank for past 15 years w
2. Holding handsome bank Balance
3. Has house under her name
4. Salary is high as well
5. We submitted NOC from her child's ( who is 10 years ) school for 3 weeks
6. For Family ties, she show her son need to join back school, need to take care of her property back home , need to take care of our mother.

Any Advise, if I am applying next time , what should we add ?

After 4 refusals she should not apply for at least a year. Seems desperate to come to Canada. Keep visit to 7-14 days. Don't know how long she was planning.

1. How much did she show in cash to not only support her and her child but also a visit? Don't know what "handsome" sum means.
2. So son wasn't coming with her? Mother is not a tie to return. House is not a tie either
3. Where does she live?

Thanks for the response

yes, its been more than an year I would say since she last apply

1. For cash around 70,000 CAD in salaried account and yes my nephew also was part of the application
2. Son was coming with her.
3. She lives in Northren India

If house or mother are not tie to return, what can be ? ( Also we did submit NOC for her office as well for a vacation of 3 weeks

So her son has 4 refusals too. That is so many and that child now has a really poor record at a young age.

They are not going to be approved if they apply together. They each have no family ties to return to, and your sister only has a job. That is not enough. So if not changing anything in the application then no sense in applying again. IRCC is cracking down even more with refusals.

If your sister really wants to visit you then she applies without her son.

What we can show as family tie in hoe country then ?

1. She has home under her name
2. Full time job ( We can submit No Objection Certificate from her Office , its a US based MNC )
3. her son and our Mother she need to take care of

What else we can show as a family tie in home country ?

So she is now applying on her own with her child? If so she shows her personal bank statements, job letter with approved leave, and explanation that son is not coming. Her mother is not a tie to return, only her son. Also shows she has sole custody.

Could you please confirm whether the applicant has traveled outside her country? The profile above does not clearly indicate whether she has any prior international travel history.

She is going to apply solely ( without her son ). She is been to couple of Asian countries though.
So she reapplies showing her bank statements, ties (job, son with sole custody, income property) and see what happens. If refused for a 5th time no sense in reapplying.

So what would be the best bet then as per her scenario?
Cool it for a bit . Having FOUR REFUSALS looks really bad . Shows desperation to get here . Why is she so desperate to visit ? You haven’t stated that .
And because of wide spread abuse , fraud , misrepresentations in the past from certain countries it’s now extremely difficult to get a visa .
