Sorry to hear that. As far as I know, CBSA makes contact within a month of receiving the ineligibility decision, so soon.
If you don’t mind, can you share your timeline please?

Good to hear that! I hope PRRA doesn’t take as long.

As for my timeline, for sure; filed refugee claim on June 10th 2025, received PFL April 14th 2026 and July 10th I got my decision, under 1 year rule.

Yes, I also hope PRRA doesn’t take long, as the volume of cases there will be going to it is going to be huge.
The wait is quite frustrating tbh

It really is.

They probably will adopt a new framework on how they process PRRA, as the minister hinted a while ago saying “we will enhance it”. But you never know I guess

Unfortunately, yes.. I am, which I think may delay my appointment with CBSA, I hope I am wrong

It doesn’t really matter what you argue with, if you can’t prove that there is a clear error in the dates of entry and claim filed with IRCC, the decision is almost always coming out to be negative

You’re right .. you can’t argue against anything in the PFL except if the dates of entry and claiming refugee is incorrect.

If it’s correct, which it is in almost all cases, no point in arguing. For that reason, I replied in two words, the dates provided are correct. Thank you.

You will not get PRRA interview anytime soon, probably for years. I would suggest applying for H and C, and also to submit OWP application under March 2026 transitional policy
