Canada visitor visa usually stamps a passport for entry when approved

Taking many weeks for my American passport to arrive by post mail

I was wondering if a New York drivers enhanced license would qualify for a Canada visitor visa instead of a passport?
Good idea or bad idea to get a enhanced license

I have parents in the uk and relatives so that’s why I’m applying for a visa in Canada , I understand many Hindus live in Canada…

American here

Thank you for advice

What EXACTLY are you trying to do ? So lots of Hindus live here , that doesn’t mean you as an American can just rock up to the border and live here

Not really trying to “live” in Canada only get a visitor visa to see my British parents for dna testing. I’m actually a kidnap victim who was raped in my youth in America and I have a federal fake birth report from the tropics of Florida with a kidnapper and rapist on it. Very difficult to be alone when your parents live overseas, not sure that really qualifies me as an American? I only want to visit Canada for reunion

If you are a US citizen then you don't need a TRV.

As mentioned Americans don’t need a visa too visit , but you can’t “ live “ here
And sorry what’s happened , but it’s irrelevant in wanting to stay in Canada long term
