We applied for citizenship as a family from Ontario and submitted my wife’s valid Ontario Photo ID card. She recently got a Ontario G1 licence in May 2026, which cancelled the Ontario Photo ID as we can keep only one either Photo ID or Driving licence.
We received AOR this week in Jun end. Do we need to update IRCC or is it fine? Just worried if this may cause any issue or delay the process.

It should not be an issue, but in order to be extra cautious, submit a webform letting them know about the change and attach a copy of the new ID.

Received Fingerprint submission letter today only to Primary Adult as part of Family application. How much time does it takes after submission of Fingerprint to RCMP to the agency?

Yes it is normal. IRCC process application through all of there regional offices which have there own backlogs. One office can be processing quicker than the other.

Does everyone gets Fingerprint request after AoR? I thoughts firgerprint given to IRCC don't need to be update if they are not 5/10yr old.

I have same timeline, any update or any idea for next steps?
