I want to get PR and I have two suicide record. I'm now outside Canada and use medication but I work and have an ordinary life. I am going to come to Canada and apply for PR. does my problem effect my application?

I am glad to hear that your mental health is under control now. What is your immigration history in Canada? Do you have a valid permit to enter Canada and remain in Canada while working/studying until you secure PR? What program are you applying for and have you looked at recent draws? Securing PR these days is quite difficult for most people except a few categories due to very high demand and limited quotas. Whether your mental health will lead to excessive medical demand issues depends on whether you have established a history or being able to work/studying full-time and have a period of not being hospitalized for mental health reasons.

Yes, I have a post graduation work permit and I will come to Canada this September. I want to apply for express entry or TR to PR passway if it opens. My mental disorder is under control, if I use medication I can have an ordinary life. I finished my Masters and worked as a mechanical engineer for 6 months while I was sick and was taking medications. I haven't been hospitalized for 3 years.

There isn’t a separate TR to PR program you can apply to.
