I submitted my permanent residence application under the refugee/protected person category, but I have been stuck in comprehensive screening since January 2025. I do not understand why this screening was requested again when it was already completed during my refugee process. I have lived in Canada for more than eight years and have never left. I am a peaceful civilian with a completely clean background, not even a parking ticket. This long delay is extremely painful and has deeply affected my mental health and emotional well-being. I feel broken. please advise me what to do?

it is on GCM note. Webform is usless. I sent more than 100 reuests and recived only automatic response
I see why you were so bitter towards 2024 applicants who recieved their PR cards and called us liars.

Thanks for your kind wishes. I am sorry if I misunderstood your comment. I felt frustrated because it does not make sense to me that IRCC would skip two years and issue PR to newer applicants first. This is the first time I have seen this happen. I apologize if I offended you, and congratulations on your PR.

It’s a breathe of fresh air receiving that card in the mail. Hopefully something is done on cases pending this long.
