Hello, I have concern regarding an application that I submit for my parents. I got an invitation on August 05, 2025 and submitted application by Oct 06,2025. Then on Nov 28 a letter was issue to request my mother resume via postal service, which i provide them via email as mentioned in the letter by Dec 17. Since then i haven't heard anything back. No AOR nothing. I tried to link my application to GCKey but no luck. Just want to see how many got the AOR and at what steps their application reach. I understand processing time varies to one application to another. At this point i am not sure what should I do,

There is no timeline when it comes to requests for additional information. PGP processing can take years and is often a very slow process.

Thanks, but I read that would cancel me being their representative? How can I still be the point of contact with IRCC?

Finally my parents became PR under PGP program. They plan to be citizen of Canada after 3 years of filing taxes. However, I have a job opportunity in USA as TN (possibly L1). If I decide to move to USA and leave Canada permanently, will my parents citizenship be affected?

I created a GCKey account for my dad and trying to link the application but it keeps saying it can't find the application. What do I do here?

I used the application number starting with "F" in the AOR. I need to submit the PCC, should I use the web form first then?

You will need to use the web form anyway. Even after linking your application you cannot submit documents there. We have all tried, it doesn't work.

I was able to connect my app via GCKey, just something I found on when searching for your app. the number of family members should be you, your spouse(if included in app) and your parents. so total 4.

Hello Everyone, just need a little advice here please. I got Invitation to apply for my mom in July 2025. Application submitted October 9, 2025. I went thru an immigration consultant/rep and he did indicate to my mom March 9 asking for ADR for resume for my mom. We let the know my mom is retired (as from when we original submitted) that my mom is retired from 2009. The form asked work history for last 10 years so the lawyer opted to put “retired” as she is a retired auditor and stated all her work time and then added last 10 years “retired”. I am wondering if we did it ok. Thing is the lawyer/rep is not the easiest person to get ahold of and a bit tardy as he has many clients and also is age senior. He used my mom’s email for correspondence but that all we have since then. Any recommendations on how we can get access to the portal to keep abrest of what is happening for ourselves? What can I use for my mom to sign up for any access? Thank you!
