Hello,

One of my friends submitted the letter of intent to move from Quebec to the GTA during the file submission. In the letter, there are good ties to the community and relatives living in the GTA for the intent to move. Would it be possible to submit supporting documents (lease agreement or address) for other places in Ontario, rather than the GTA, since relatives no longer live in Canada? Would it be a problem to have 2 different statements (addressing GTA in the intent of the letter) but now submitting lease agreements or an address outside of GTA?

Appreciate the help.

Thank you.

I would definitely include proof and if possible you should move during processing and update IRCC. Proof of employment outside Quebec as well as proof of housing outside Quebec would be your best options for proof that you are settling outside of Quebec. Proof of employment outside of Quebec or proof that you have given notice at your job outside of Quebec would be ideal. If you have not secured a job outside of Quebec proof that you have been applying for jobs outside Quebec along with proof that you gave notice to your employer in Quebec would be proof that you are settling outside of Quebec.
