Visitor visa refusal due to 179b general reason multiple time we applied ALJR - Judicial Review ? Time lies and possible outcome

Hello,

Any one can guide me what will happen after we apply for judicial review against visitor visa refusal multiple time with same general reasons of ties , not satisfied with travel plan , you may not returning back.

Our lawyer got the acknowledgment against submitted application in federal court called ALJR within 15 days after refusal letter received. Case location Ontario

Need your expert advise on times lines and success ration, how many step involved till getting final approval ?

This visa applicant is from Oman and has invitation from inside Canada and Canadian citizenship holder and all documents. 3rd refusal.

The big issue is that you claimed asylum in Canada and there is fear that this person will do so as well. Are they a citizen of Oman because if not their ties to their home country is what is important

I’m surprised you’re surprised it was refused
You claimed asylum . What do you think the IRCC thinks ?
They think the person will claim asylum, and they are probably right

Hopefully it’ll be denied and the judge will see what’s going on

He is a friend and his invitation given by his relatives ? Just asking question on his behalf
 
This question is from a friend who belongs to a separate family and his relatives in Canada send him invitation. Question is asked to know process.

there is nothing to be surprised, you don’t know actually the background / context.

That should have been part of the post because your post indicated that it was your friend/family member. Are they a citizen of Oman? That also has a big impact on approval. If not a citizen of Oman what is their citizenship and what ties have they shown to their home country and Oman? How did the friend obtain status in Canada?

Once judicial review is filed, IRCC usually has to respond with their reasons/records and then the Federal Court decides whether the refusal was reasonable or if the case should be reconsidered.

It’s important to know that judicial review does not directly guarantee visa approval. In many successful cases, the court simply sends the application back for a new officer to review again.

Timelines can vary a lot, but many JR cases take several months depending on whether leave is granted and if settlement discussions happen.
