Contact the parliament. I did and they passed my medical which was stuck for no reason for 6 months. But still my comprehension security in progress since 15/October/2026. Aor 24/7/2025.
I have a similar timeline. AOR 28/7/2025 and comprehensive security check since 31/October/2025.

I requested new GSMA and CBSA notes, but I am still waiting. I passed everything in my profile except security. I see people who applied in January already have their COPR. It's very frustrating.

Yeah, comprehensive security is much longer and unfortunately not really comparable to a standard application.

Yes, tried with MP as well. Received the same standard response that application is still under IRCC timeline which is BTW incorrect but how do we challenge this?

When I received AOR it was 7 Month timeline for Application Submitted in July 2025, which got over in February but IRCC timeline portal still shows 2 month remaining. which is weird and does not make any sense?

Re-contact the Parliament and mention that you ordered CSIS notes, which confirmed that their part was completed back in January. Try to show them that you are actively tracking your application and are fully aware of its status and progress.

Yes, done that already. but according to them they can't do anything unless timeline pass through standard mentioned timeline on IRCC website..

That's ridiculous, we already passed the standard time. We are now almost 10 months since we applied! I hope you hear something soon. I am in WhatsApp group and someone contacted the csis and they replied like that
” Security screening is a shared responsibility between IRCC, CSIS, and CBSA. This responsibility is generally performed in a specific order:
  1. IRCC performs the initial review of the application (including background checks) after which a decision is made on whether or not to send the application to CSIS and/or the CBSA for further screening.
  2. In some cases, screening by CSIS is required; once this is done, the application is sent to the CBSA where additional security screening activities are performed. If screening by CSIS is not required, the application will go directly to the CBSA.
  3. When screening by the CBSA is done, a recommendation is sent to IRCC, as the decision maker.
The time required to complete CBSA security screening can vary depending on complexity, requirements for additional research, an applicant's personal history, the availability of relevant information, the volumes of applications, and the level of detail provided in the application. If additional information is required to complete your file, the CBSA will notify IRCC who will reach out to you to obtain that information.

Once the file is received, the CBSA will strive
to complete security screening activities for permanent residence applications within 107 calendar days from the date on which CSIS finishes its work.

so you might hear something soon as your csis was finalized in January!
