Jan 2026 applicant here. No update after BIL and medical updated on tracker but this is within the expected timeline.
What do you mean by below:

Do you mean spousal TRV or the main sponsorship application itself?
I mean spousal TRV, as I was thinking of applying, but based on the rejections in forum, deciding against it.

If you applied with all the documents and explain that applicant will leave Canada and not wait for PR here including relation proof, funds, ties to home with detailed explanation, it will be approved. If you have question, I can answer them for you to best of my knowledge.

Did you apply for TRV - If yes - Whats the status??

Hello
Submission: Feb 21/2026
No AOR
or anything else.
It says submitted in the PR portal. Is there any February applications in same case as me? It's been 85 day already. Most people are getting their AOR with a month and a half. What should I do? Any insights?

Are you checking the correct email address provided to IRCC? Have you checked your spam folder?

Maybe someone else has now experience, but is it possible to send a message through the web form before AOR? If you can, I would suggest sending a message asking through web form.

Check your Spam/Junk Mail: AOR emails often get flagged by filters. Search your inbox for messages ending in @cic.gc.ca.

Log into your Portal: Even without an email, your status may change online. Check both the IRCC Permanent Residence Portal or your GCKey Account to see if the status says "Submitted" rather than "Returned".

Check Processing Times: AOR issuance depends heavily on current IRCC inventory backlogs and application volume. You can track general processing timelines using the IRCC Processing Times Tool.

Wait Out the Average Window: Wait times ranging from 1 to 3 months for an AOR are highly common, especially for complex or sponsored streams.

Raise an IRCC Web Form: If it has been more than 90 days since your application date and you still have no updates, you can make a formal inquiry using the IRCC Web Form.

Contact Client Support: For additional assistance, you can call the IRCC toll-free client support line at 1-888-242-2100 (if you are currently calling from inside Canada).
