eligibility review required for 222 days

Hi everyone, my application is Express Entry FSW French Stream, and the status of eligibility is under Review Required for 222 days (7 months and 2 weeks); my AOR date is Sep 23, 2025. During this time, no ghost update or anything else. I am soooo worried about that. I called IRCC and also connected the MP, they said my application is still in progress. But the waiting time seems too long. My PVO is Ottawa and SVO is Etobicoke. Just wondering is there anybody has the similar situation?

Do you come from a French speaking country? If not when did you start learning French (do you have documentation of how you learned French) and do you have a history of living in a French speaking region of Canada or working in French? There is quite a lot of fraud going on in the French stream so there can be extra scrutiny when it comes to applications.

Hi, thank you for the reply. I lived in France for 3 years and got my Master's degree there.

Did you do the masters degree in French? What are your language scores? Did you attend French language learning classes?

Acutually I don't think there is any issue with my language proficiency. I obtained my master's degree from a university in France and when i was studying in France, i took TCF French proficiency exam and achieved a C1 level. I don't think my language test result is the reason why my file has not been updated for such a long time.
