Update: I received an update today that an interview has been scheduled for me on June 9th. My LPP section is still showing as In Progress.

Is getting an interview at this stage normal, or is it something to be concerned about? Would appreciate hearing from others who have gone through this.

Original post: Hi everyone, looking for some advice on my citizenship application. My file moved quickly at first, but it’s now been over 2.5 months with no updates, and PPL is still In Progress. Applicants who tested much later have already reached Oath, so I’m getting a bit concerned.

Timeline: Aug 05 – Application submittedOct 08 – AORNov 14 – Background completedDec 12 – Test inviteJan 02 – Test completedJan 08 – Test marked as CompletedSince then – No updates; PPL still In ProgressApplied from Toronto.

Has anyone else experienced a long pause after the test stage? Any guidance would help.

At some point, I stopped checking my tracker on a daily basis and I was checking it every Monday. When I checked it on April 20, I noticed it was updated April 17 with the interview update, so I'm not sure if there was a ghost update during that week.

I am planning to order my GCMS notes but before ordering, I noticed that you could select either complete form, GCMS notes or CBSA notes.

Has anyone ordered their complete form and what difference is it from selecting either?

Received GCMS notes from CBSA today. This is the second note I have after the first request in Feb. Still no progress at all, showing PM03 Grant Review Ready. LPP not started yet. Primary office Vancouver, Secondary CPC Sydney. AOR 10/10, Test complete 1/12, Background completed in Oct 2025. Anyone in the same boat?

Hello everyone, any insight would be appreciated.

My application has hit 4 months with nothing completed except the citzenship test.

I think "Application Summary" would work. This is what I ordered back in Feb, it took only 2 weeks and it gave me a little bit of clue of what is happening.

I’m still traveling but decided to give a call to IRCC. Agent said I should be getting an interview scheduled soon. So hopefully some moves soon. No updates in the portal yet.

Also agent was a bit discouraging when communicating this update, she claims that interviews usually means that my application could become non routine and might take longer than expected timelines. Will see

I got the oath of citizenship email but it's a virtual ceremony and I'd prefer in person. So I'll like to reschedule. Does anyone know how long it will take to reschedule?
