This is a ridiculous explanation. It makes absolutely no sense. So you are saying that you through it was ok to lie and say "no" to the question about previous sponsorships and to fail to declare a past divorce in the application unless IRCC specifically asked you about this? And only then did you have to tell the truth? That response makes zero sense.

Generally speaking, the only thing IRCC hates more than misrepresentation is when people fail to take responsibility for misrepresentation. Let's be honest. It's very clear your wife knew these answers were lies. This is clear to IRCC as well. She hid her past marriage and past sponsor in multiple ways. This was done on purpose.

Anyway, your life. You do what you want.
I need help on how to go about this. That is why I came here. Any help with a Good Lawyer. Or should I let my Wife take full Responsibility on it

If your wife will take full responsibility and get an affidavit done to state she hid all of this from you, I would definitely do that.

Even if your wife takes full responsibility that doesn’t mean you won’t be banned. Think you need to prepare that this will likely be the outcome. This was a major misrepresentation.

I received a procedural Fairness letter stating that i failed to disclose that I have been refused 3 visas to us and 4 to Australia . The reason I mentioned No In the form was that both Australia and USA had given me the visas later on and I currently hold valid visas from both of the countries.
I have replied to PFL and informed the same that it was a misunderstanding of question, as i understood that I was supposed to give the latest information according to which both USA AND AUSTRALIA had reconsidered my applications and granted me the visas.

Are there any success stories for trv after PFL in such a case?
I have the similar issue where I typed that my academic qualification is 2014-2018 instead of 2015 to 2018 please what can I do because I was given pfl

I recently received a letter from IRCC stating that I failed to declare a second US visa refusal in my Express Entry application. Here's what happened:

  • I correctly declared one US visa refusal in my application.
  • However, I missed declaring the second US visa refusal, which occurred after I submitted my Express Entry profile but before submitting my eAPR.
  • I genuinely made a human error by not updating this in my application.
  • IRCC has noted both refusals and is now asking me to explain the non-disclosure and provide documentation.
  • They’ve also mentioned potential inadmissibility under Sections 16(1) and 41(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Some additional background:

  • I have successfully received visas for Malaysia, Vietnam, and the UAE (twice), even after the US visa refusals.
  • My failure to declare the second US refusal was not intentional – I simply overlooked updating my application after the second refusal occurred.

I received a PFL and responded, attaching the necessary document, I have not gotten response for over one month of replying to the PFL. How long does it take for IRCC to respond? What should I do, keep waiting?. I intend to visit my spouse during my official annual leave from work. The leave schedule is almost running out.
Your candid advise will be welcome...

Best regards,
Fam.

Depends on the documents provided and reason for PFL. There are no timelines - weeks, months and sometimes years.

Hi
I got a pfl, regarding my spousal sponsership application,
As it is my second marriage, and the date of marriage in our marriage certificate and birth certificate are mistakenly dated.
And the registration date is the date that we really get married, the officer is considered as polygamy as the date is before the manage date in the document.
They asked me whether I get married before divorce? If no explanation requested.

I really didn’t get married before divorce , and I have multiple evidence, but in our country the father consent is required to a marriage be registered, we didn’t have access to father on that date and told the office in other date we got the consent proving with an affdavid.

What do u think ? Do I have a chance to get approved

Need a lawyer. You have to prove that you were divorced with legal documents and then remarried after divorce was final with legal documents.

I have provided the divorce documents in my initial application.
My marriage certificate dated before the divorce date .
It had happened as the marriage office put father consent for our marriage as date of marriage, we requested to do amendment but they said we can’t change it you have to request to court !

So you were married before your divorce then. IRCC does not care about father's consent so you need to get the courts to change your marriage date to after you were divorced.

It is not the truth , we were get married after divorce but the marriage office put the date of our engagement as marriage .
