Unless they changed their policy, they were giving it after receiving the PR. What is this information based on?As far as I understand, IRCC does not return seized documents until you become a Canadian citizen. Once your citizenship application is approved and you officially obtain citizenship, they will contact you to arrange the pickup of your passport.
I hope, this is the email address for the IRCC Vancouver office: IRCC.VOS-VDS.IRCC@cic.gc.caAnyone knows IRCC Vancouver office's email address to request seized documents?

Per what I found online they supposed to return them after becoming PR. Some people report that they got it automatically after becoming PR. just visit the office where your passport was seized with all your PR documents . In Toronto they return the passportToday, I called the Ottawa office, but unfortunately they told me to wait until citizenship. I don't know why .... many people got it after pr
I am already PR but what steps should i follow to get passport and idz backBased on my experience before, my lawyer gave me the documents after the hearing day and I passed. If the seized documents means your first country's passport and the ID card, IRCC will contact you to take it back after you became a PR. Hope this will help you.
