ICBC sent my Indian drivers license to the head office for verification

Hi all my Indian driving license issued in 2015. I booked knowledge test with ICBC, but they didn't let me take the knowledge test and told me they are sending my driver's license to the head office for validation. My license is a genuine one. Are anyone in the same boat? Or has anyone went through this awful experience before?

Everyone who applies to exchange a drivers license from a country that doesn't have a reciprocal agreement with Canada or the province you live in goes through this process. It's not a unique situation.
