Visitor visa application timeline Sep 2025

Update: Received PPR on December 11, 2025. Submitted the passport and reached IRCC in New Delhi on 17 December 2025. Since then waiting for the passport to come back with the stamp. Does anybody have idea how much time is it taking these days for visitor visa counterfoil and sending passport back?

Up to 30 days.

Yes I got back my passport. It took 30-35 days to get passport back

Similar timeline as yours, Submitted Passport via VFS and is under process at IRCC since Jan 27 2026.
Visitor Visa application from India, Approved and Received letter for Passport Submission on Jan 17.

You mean passport stamped to get it back? Or you applied and waiting? No one can tell you. If sponsoring child and you are inside Canada then may get PR first.

I applied for PR and waiting for AOR.
Child is in India. Applied VV last week, waiting for response. Anyone knows how much time it takes to get approval?

posting under September 2025 applications so check processing times but an estimate when most are processed by is probably 60-90 days plus 30 days for stamping.
