Thank you so much! Already checked the site and actually this is the first draw I guess after the new EOI process is introduced for NB AIP - so have to check in how many days will get the endorsement & WP letter. Will update the timelines once received.

You have to apply for PR first to get WP letter. Processing is around 33 months.

So, basically when endorsement is given WP letter is also given at the same time - as per the below.

An AIP endorsee is expected to submit their application for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) before their endorsement certificate expires.

Due to longer processing times at IRCC, some AIP endorsees may require an extension to their current work permit.

To support this need, ImmigrationNB can issue a letter of support for a closed work permit under the LMIA exemption code C18. This letter offers a temporary solution while AIP endorsees await a final decision on their permanent residence application.

@Naturgrl - So I received the AIP Endorsement and WP Support Letter . Need to apply for both PR & Work Permits.
Wanted to check at present my spouse is on Closed WP and myself on Open WP and once my company pays the Compliance Fee will the Closed WP become open immediately or it will take time- Please advice. We have asked our lawyer and yet to receive a response - you would have seen similar scenarios of this type right.
