I am planning to go back to Bangladesh next week. May I know if there is any transit Visa requirement in case of short 2-3 hour transit in either Hong Kong Airport (Cathy Pacific) or Subarmabhumi airport, Bangkok (Air Canada)?

Generally, Bangladeshi passport holders are required to have a visa to transit in Hong Kong, even if you stay in the international/transit area. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Hong_Kong?
Better select transit via Asia or the Middle East Qatar Airways via Doha, Emirates, and Etihad Airways (Those Airlines/countries allows airside transit without a transit visa. Visa-free transit is common if you stay in the international zone).

No. I withdraw my refugee claim and going back.

Btw, I am planning to buy ticket in Air Canada which has transit at Bangkok (5hours). Already confirmed with Thai consulate and they said No transit visa needed if the layover is less than 12 hours. Hope I will be fine
