Although getting a hearing is somewhat chronological you really need to compare to similar cases to get an idea of when you may get a hearing. Members tend to hear cases from the same regions because they are experts on issues affecting that area, know about cultural norms, etc. Within claims from a particular region whether your claim is considered less complex or not also makes a difference, what province you are living in makes a difference, whether you need a more extensive security screening, etc. all make a difference so tough to predict timing especially these days given there are also backlogs at every part of the process. All you can do is wait. So much of the asylum process is out of your control and with processing taking longer and longer would try to focus on things you can control like trying to build a career, trying to meet people, trying to find activities to do that will distract you from the asylum process and hopefully make life more enjoyable, etc

You sent 3 requests/reminders in the last 1.5 months‽
I don't think sending reminders can hurt your case, but that many of them certainly won't help you. Sending just one is generally enough, and in my opinion you should wait at least a month and a half before sending another one of the same request. If they take longer than 1.5 months, then you can send another one because, your request may have "fallen through/lost". Of course this is not a hard rule or anything, I'm just basing it off of my own experience with the RPD/IRB.

You are likely in a queue now that your security screening has been completed. The big issue is that the queue is likely long so it will take time.

Stop sending personal emails & webform now and let your lawyer handle all communication. The IRB usually responds more consistently to lawyers than to claimants directly.
If your lawyer does not receive a response after a reasonable period of time, you can request assistance from your local Member of Parliament.

An MP can’t help there is a well known backlog that is affecting every part of the asylum process. This isn’t also a case of much longer processing time from security clearance being finished to receiving a hearing date. Have your lawyer ask what is the backlog of cases waiting for hearings which is what should give you a better idea of the potential wait.
