Hello,
I was wondering if someone could clear this up or just let me know if I am overthinking this for no reason.
When I applied for my PR like 5 years ago, during the personal activities section, I completely left out my volunteering that I did at that time. I remember the site there saying, or I just read, that I should put in work, education and travel. Volunteering completely slipped my mind, since I thought I wasn't getting paid for it and it was nothing illegal. Now I was reading some other sites and its a 50/50 on whether you put it or not, with most people saying just put it in case they question why you didn't put it. I just hope this doesn't become an issue in the future.
The volunteering itself was for around a year, helping out zookeepers at the zoo. It was an unpaid position (once a week), and many other volunteers were doing it. Half of it was when I was working, half was when I was unemployed. I was on a PGWP then. I have my PR now.
Thanks
