↕️it’s officially a month since I gave biometric, and it’s weirdly quiet. Wondering if I should call IRCC and ask what’s happening. Anyone here already called ircc and is there any possibility to expedite the process or figure out what went wrong with my profile?
What is your tracker saying? usually u begin to see movement in 1 month and 2 weeks after your bio/medical is completed (shown in tracker).

oh it’s still “not started” for eligibility and “in progress” for BGV. I heard a few people have their biometrics done in early December already had their P1 or at least FD, for all 4 categories in tracker are marked as completed

Processing speed varies by category, and those differences often explain why some applications move faster than others.
Applicants in French-speaking or healthcare categories often have lower CRS scores yet see faster processing. One reason is that, if they are inland, they typically have little to no foreign work experience. If they are outland, they often claim only one or two years of experience. IRCC generally does not scrutinize this level of foreign experience as closely, especially when it does not attract maximum CRS points.
PNP applications also tend to move faster at the federal stage. This is largely because the provincial process itself is already lengthy, and the federal government prioritizes issuing PRs so provinces can accurately manage and meet their nomination quotas.
In practice, CEC applications with minimal or no foreign work experience are usually processed more quickly, simply because there is less to assess and verify.
Ultimately, the key stage that truly matters is eligibility. Once eligibility is passed, there is generally little reason to worry about the remaining steps. Stages such as FD, Portal 1, and Portal 2 are largely administrative and are often handled by non–visa officer teams, which explains why movement at these stages can sometimes appear slow or inconsistent.

Quick question: I have both Non-EE and EE running at the same time. When is the best time to withdraw my non-EE application? or would they withdraw it automatically when I get eCoPR (hopefully)? Appreciate your answers

U can withdraw your Non-EE now that you got FD. do you have foreign exp points claimed? and do you know when your eligibility was completed?

Per IRCC Tracker, both eligibility and background was done same day as FD, which is Jan 6, 2026. Just today, Jan 23, 2026, I received my Portal 1.

And, yes I have foreign work experience

May I ask what is GU? Today I checked my file, my last update time changed from medical pass date (Dec) to today. And for the tracker I now have both eligibility and BGV in progress now. But when I looked the web inspector data, it only shows that ircc loaded my document today?

Hello guys, October 30th aor here, everything on my tracker showed completed since Dec 30th 2025. But Tilly now, no final decision, no eCOPR. I'm outland, and french category ita.

Anyone else in similar situation, how long is it taking to get eCOPR nowadays after everything is completed??
